Bridging the Summer Learning Gap

Since 2021, CYAP’s Summer Bridge Tutoring Program has been helping at-risk Carmel students stay on track academically during the summer months—when learning loss can hit hardest. Partnering with Carmel Clay Schools, we identify students on the Free and Reduced Lunch Program who need extra support in reading and math. Our dedicated teachers and tutors work one-on-one to strengthen skills, boost confidence, and set students up for a strong start to the school year. This August, we proudly celebrated the graduation of our fourth Summer Bridge cohort of youth!
